About Ayesha Ofori

Ayesha began her career at Morgan Stanley, working across the Real Estate Investing and Investment Banking teams, before moving to Goldman Sachs.

At Goldman Sachs, she became an Executive Director and Private Wealth Adviser, personally managing over £500 million in client assets for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, including some of the wealthiest individuals in the world.

She worked closely with founders, executives and global investors, helping them navigate defining financial moments, manage complexity and build long-term, intergenerational wealth.

Her role was not simply about constructing investment portfolios, but about judgment. About guiding personal, high-stakes decisions where risk, responsibility and long-term vision intersected.

At the same time, Ayesha applied those same principles in her own life. Alongside her work at Goldman Sachs, she built her own wealth through real estate investing, using the same disciplined frameworks she advised her clients on.

Seeing wealth created both professionally and personally deepened her understanding of what truly drives long-term financial growth. It is not complexity that builds wealth. It is clarity, consistency and the confidence to act.

Alongside her career in finance, Ayesha holds an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London and an MBA from London Business School.

That combination of analytical training and lived capital experience shaped her understanding of how wealth is truly built. Not simply through income. But through disciplined, long-term decision-making. Through confidence under uncertainty.

Building Differrently

Working at the highest levels of private wealth made one thing clear. The frameworks that guide wealth creation are not widely taught.

Access to financial confidence is uneven, and women in particular are often left navigating investing and risk without structural clarity. That insight shaped the direction of Ayesha’s work.

In 2022, she launched Propelle, the UK’s first female-focused investment platform built around financial education, community and access to investments. Propelle exists to help women build long-term wealth deliberately and confidently, closing not just an information gap, but a participation and confidence gap.

Alongside her work as Founder and CEO of Propelle, Ayesha speaks internationally on financial wellness, money psychology and women’s economic participation. She works with organisations across finance, technology and professional services.

She has delivered talks for Google, BlackRock, PGIM and London Tech Week.

She has appeared live on Sky News, BBC Radio and Bloomberg Radio, and her work has been featured in the Financial Times and CNBC.

Recognition

Ayesha’s work has received national and international recognition.

She was nominated for the Veuve Clicquot Bold Future Award, recognising her impact in advancing women’s economic power.

She is a recipient of the Women of the Future Award and was named one of Management Today’s 35 Women Under 35.

She has been included in the Women in Fintech Powerlist and was awarded Entrepreneur Rising Star at the Black British Business Awards.

She is also recognised as an Emerging Alumni Leader by Imperial College London.
